Hyperion Entertainment announces the immediate availability of the fourth update of the AmigaOS4.0 Developer Prerelease.

The new features in this pre-release include:

* All-new Warp3D with support for Voodoo 3/4/5 and ATI Radeon models 7000, 7200, 7500, 9000, 9200 and 9250.
* Petunia Just-In-Time 68k emulator.
* All-new Intuition with advanced features like flicker-free window redraw and new screen dragging features (among other things, screens can be dragged freely in any direction and will reveal other screens beneath even if dragged sideways)
* Updated ExecSG kernel
* New Extended Input System allows the use of mouse wheels on both PS/2 and USB mice, and the use of Multimedia keyboards (with keys like volume control, play/pause etc)
* And much much more. Practically ALL components of the system have been updated.

Registered AmigaOS4.0-Owners can download the update in our Download area immediately.

Abbiamo trovato qualcuno per occuparsi del SDK. Il lavoro è cominciato !

insomma,il video non dice nulla, mostra screen draggabili, un pò di jit e menù non bloccanti, nulla +

Tutto qui ho visto che nell'archivio c'erano altri programmi.

Del tipo Compatibility,PrefsObjectsEditor(penso sia quello della grab,il salvaschermo),BIOSUpdater, IoTools e sempre uguale o è stato riscritto in reaction? UBoot mi pare che c'era anche nel'upd3
ma non l'ho mai visto.

All'apparenza infatti non sembrerebbe esserci tanto.D'altronde OS4 era già finito e funzionante all'update 3.Questi sono solo "aggistamenti e aggiunte".
Per vedere cosa è stato aggiunto/modificato "sotto" bisognerà aspettare l'SDK...

Tratto da AW (novita rispetto ad up3 oltre quelle annunciate, Petunia, W3D, ecc...):

* OpenSSL is included in C: and LIBS:
* A program called PrefsObjectEditor is in Tools.. A XML prefs editor it seems.
* Better Screen mode editing (inside the monotor file). Not needing P96Screenmode anymore.
* Locale files included.
* A modular Screensaver is included.
* Extended GUI prefs.
* Support large files.. Has anyone tested this yet?
* New dockies - have a list?
* BIOS updater
* BRU - For backing up the system.
* DPMS support for screenblanker (Power Mgmt)
* Mouse Input options- mouse speed now has a larger range of adjustment. Standard speed s now known as 1:1. Tap the speed up a notch & it becomes 3:2, then 2:1, then 3:1 & 4:1. Very handy for lower resolution meeces that are a little slow. It also now goes the other way. 2:3, 1:2, 1:3 & 1:4. Right down to a quarter of the speed.
* non-blocking option for menus in gui prefs.

New In Tools:
Commodities - CrossDOS
TypeManager with new functionlaity for adjusting and installing fonts.

'Corrected' DataTypes:
- ANIM
- CDXL
- WAVE
