Hello ikir,
just post that on aw.net (completely!):
How to "compile" Firefox for AmigaOS4.
At first you need a good screenshot of an application
(for "our port" we used IBrowse) running under Amiga
OS4.
Then you need a Firefox Browser on the platform of
your choice (we used Firefox 1.0.3/MacOSX) and a
website using CSS (like sony.com).
Then you have to take a screenshot of Firefox showing
this website.
For the next step in our compiling guide you need a
good image processing software (like Photoshop).
Load both images into your favorite image processing
software and do a cut 'n paste on the OS4 window
borders.
Then you create a new picture in your favorite size
(we selected 1024x768). Copy and paste the OS4 window
borders to fit the screen-size you've selected.
After that you create the MUI-borders just like they
are in the OS4 screenshot. Paste the firefox website
shot (remember sony.com?) into your new picture and
position it to fit perfectly.
Now copy and paste all MUI widgets over the standard
firefox widgets and colorize the toolbar background to
your MUI background.
Don't forget to create a scrollbar that fits
perfectly!
After that you need a font looking like an AmigaOS4
font (Helvetica). Create the Screentitlebar and
Windowtitlebar text and don't forget the status-text
in your Browser.
Last but not least you have to save your "port" of
Firefox (we selected a 25% web optimized JPEG).
Now have fun with your port
