A me con la 9800pro 256mb... non riesco a capirne il nesso

forse perchè il cipset della 9800 non è pienamente supportato?... cmq credo sia dovuto ai 256mb di Vram... mos ne supporta 128...
Perchè sulla 9200se 128mb e sulla 9250 128mb non mi fa le stranezze che mi fa con la 9200 256mb

La 9200 di kyle è 128mb eppure (chip supportato e ram supportata) da l'identico difetto che da a me. Quindi il problema secondo me è un'altro

P.s. la 9800 è supportata, manca solo l'accelerazione 3D.

Ecco i miei risultati con la 9000 Pro, praticamente si equivalgono con la 9250, anche se abbiamo usato differenti risoluzioni

Cosa intendi quando mi chiedi se ho abilitato l'accelerazione su OS4.1? Non lo fa di default a seconda della scheda gfx installata? Come si fa?

Altra domanda, te dove hai installata la sii3114? Io con la 9200 avevo in sequenza: gfx AGP, scheda usb 2.0, sii3112, ultimo slot pci libero.
Quando ho installato la 9000 Pro avevo lasciato il primo slot pci libero (quindi in sequenza gfx AGP, slot pci libero, sii3112, scheda usb 2.0) ma in questa maniera la rete andava moooolto a singhiozzo.
Adesso ho rimesso tutto come quando avevo la 9200 installata e la rete è tornata a pieno regime. Spiegazioni?

L'accelerazione l'abiliti dalla Gui prefs In prefs (sys:)... e seleziona anche "ottimizza per prestazioni" e non uso memoria video.
Io cambiando anche i temi ho visto un incremento di velocità ...
Riguardo la lan Potrebbe essere un caso ... oppure come succede su un mio pc la scheda sii ciuccia tanto il dma da farmi rallentare anche il refresh video

Bhoooo non so 9200se 128 a me funge la 9200 256 128bit no ... la 9250 128mb funge... adesso non saprei forse è il driver di Mos un po a cazzinger

Ma te che problema hai con MOS?
ti si blocca all'avvio quando hai la sii3114 installata? Come faceva a me che si bloccava dopo la schermata della cpu di sistema?

Io ho risolto forzando l'avvio della partizione dove MOS è installato, con il seguente comando:

boot ide:0 boot.img bootdevice morphos (dove morphos appunto è la partizione dove MOS è installato)

Timedemo demo2 quake 131,5 fps contro i 125,4 della 9250

adesso mi funziona anche il cdrom... che palle!

e sto installando il pack crysalis
ma mos continua ad essere troppo instabile...

a proposito ... hai trovato dove si attiva l'accelerazione Hw 2d su AmiOs =?

Sì, era già abilitata e ho messo l'ottimizzazione per prestazione
