"I heard from a UAE Linux user that is running everything he used under his
deceased A4000/040 w/ OS3.9. After the initial teething problems to get
the thing to work (he had no previous Linux experience), everything is
working a treat with SuSE 7.3, and way faster that his old real 040 machine.
It also works much better than WinUAE.

For more info you might try the A1users list or whatever is called. I'm
pretty sure you will get first hand info there."
